I have never really sat down to listen to Romney speak and figured his acceptance speech would be one of his better efforts. He does not have the silver tongue that Obama has, but seems like an good family man and a decent business person from my impressions. Though I may not agree with his policies. I assume FactCheck offers non-partisan evaluations and it was interesting to see their reviews. It will be interesting to compare with Obama's FactCheck.

I sometimes wish there was a box to check on tax returns to support some sort of fact check and better keep the candidates on the straight and narrow give the voters a more accurate take on the issues.

"Among the things the Republican Party's presidential candidate is hearing this morning about the address he gave Thursday night is that "in a speech heavy on anecdotal history but short on policy details, Mitt Romney avoided major falsehoods." "....cheery compared to what the organization said about the acceptance speech that GOP vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan gave to the Republican National Convention on Wednesday. It contained "several false claims and misleading statements"

There's not a box like that on a tax return, but there is one on a ballot.

Not that this will have any bearing on Republican voters, famous for their disregard for facts....;)

Romney started with the biggest lie of all. He tried to insinuate that the republicans tried to WORK with Obama and actually wanted him to succeed! Who exactly believes this? Who? The people in the audience? The people at home watching? What a farce!

He is a liar and a tax cheat. The first a proven, the second just a good guess on the evidence.
Again, no bearing on the average republican voter!
