Oh, yes. And every year on my birthday, I order something just for me.
The creativity of so many of the people on that site amazes me.
Actually, I've never heard of the site before much less gone and looked at it.
Actually, I think I've heard of the word Etsy but I didn't know what it was beyond something internet.
Guess I'll check it out.
OMG Yes!!! I love that place. It has so many amazing artists creating! I have encouraged my girls to start their own shops to no avail. We are stuck in the endless loop of what to make.
I have birthdays for people coming up and they will be ordered off etsy, I already ordered a meditation cushion for a friend last month and had it sent.
I bought 3 artist's books off of Etsy last month. They are inexpensive (under $25) and are interesting little pieces of art.
Last spring I carefully shopped on Etsy for a small vase to use in a flower show. It won for me The Best in Show award, really a small and simple flower design but the judges loved the container.
The level of artistic photography is very high on Etsy, that's part of the sales pitch.
I regularly cruise Etsy looking for inspiration and new polymer artists. I've bought beads and findings and gifts; it's a wonderful resource. I've also found chic vintage leather and tapestry bags. Really, you can lose yourself for hours there.
Yes! Love it! I ordered a cute print a few weeks ago for my DD's room.
Oh yes! Etsy is my go-to place for fine art and cat toys. I enjoy seeing what turns up by searching on random words.
Oh yes, Etsy is a dangerous place! tee hee
I often turn to Etsy for a very, very special gift. And try to stay out otherwise, because I could spend a bajillion dollars out there if I had it. Mrs. M, I thought of you when I bought a very sweet vintage clothespin bag (with vintage clothespins) a couple of weeks ago.
Oh, boy, nothing like taking comfort in numbers (and words). :)
So true, ETSY, is dangerous, and I, too, could also spend a bazillion dollars on ETSY, stuff!
Puglogic. The vintage clothespin bag/pins sound delightful! Hope you enjoy them!
It IS dangerous! But proudly, I say I have restrained myself to a gift or 3, and some massage oils for us! This past July I ordered some very cute dish towels embroidered with roosters...sent them to my DD for her birthday. She said they reminded her of growing up at home. That made me feel good.
I'm there all the time (mostly selling)...buying as a reward when I reach goals.

Etsy is wonderful. I buy stuff for my dogs there (collars etc.) The prices are no higher than the pet store and I love knowing that they are made by a real person, not a machine. And fun to wander!
KayLRZ. The embroidered dish towels sound darling!
Float On. Wish I was more crafty, so I, too, could sell.
Gardenarian. That's what I love, too, knowing that things are handmade and/or vintage.
Float, what do you sell? I am thinking about making more funky dragon puppets and then having a store with my daughters who are super creative. We make things all the time anyway so we might as well sell them ya know.
I love etsy too. I get a lot of our gifts there.
I don't want to elaborate on what I'm looking at purchasing, as it seems whenever I let the cat out of the bag, my dreams are always dashed, however, should things work out where I get my wish, I'll take a few pictures and post them.
Zoe, we sell our blown glass - bowls, vases, ornaments, and some solid sculptures like papeweights, etc.
