birthday BBQ day

My girls have birthdays this week. One turned 19 on friday and the other 22 on monday. So we had a BBQ today, super simple because I worked too much this last week again. So anyway we made bacon guacamole burgers and had 2 different cakes for them. I got my oldest a vintage train case, you know those small suitcases for things like makeup. She loves containers. Also a gift card. My middle kiddo got gift card money for a good haircut and highlights. She was growing her hair out from a mowhawk and then made dreadlocks so she has not had a haircut in a looong time. Plus a subscription to Psychology today.

Sounds good! I'm betting they'd rather have guac burgers and Mom who's not stressed out than some fancy thing on their b'day. Nice of you to have two different cakes too!

Sounds like a nice time together and thoughtful gifts. Special, loving times together is what I remember most with people, not any of the externals...:)
