What's extra weird is that this is Spring behavior, not Fall. I've had a female cardinal banging at all my windows all day long, for several weeks now. She's protecting her territory from the other female cardinal in the window (her reflection). Very curious behavior for this time of year. She's wearing me out. I can't imagine how she's feeling after several weeks of this constantly for about 10 hours a day. And she goes around to all the windows. Poor her!

Cathy, maybe you need to tape a picture of a cat to each one of your windows ;)

Awww.... How about trying drawing the drapes or closing the blinds.

She must be exhausted by end of day!

Try to break up the reflection. Drawing the drapes doesn't work, the glass is still reflective. Sometimes spraying window cleaner on the outside of the glass and letting it dry will do the trick. Then after a few days when she has forgotten about it you can hose the indows off.

Can you believe that poor girl is still hitting on our windows? Its just become something we expect to hear all day here. Poor thing. Her hormones must really be messed up! (I hope she didn't catch that from me!) haha
