Argh,

So I was pretty darn sure that the family with the before school kid did not fully understand the agreement we made. I sent home a letter with the details fo the enrollment fee and the tuition, etc. Plus saying again that I needed immunization records (they have to provide these to the school to register as well). Like I thought I heard a message passed through the child to my morning staff that mom does not want to pay anything. This is after dad talked to me and I told him the price, the registration fee, and even dropped the insistence on the 2nd phone number just so we could get this kid off the playground so early. I passed it onto the assistant principal since she talked to me orginally and brought dad down to talk to me. She is going to have one of the bilingual staff talk to him, mom speaks English as a first language and dad speaks both, however I think he is pretending to understand more than he is if that makes sense. Very hard to get clear withough embarrassing a parent, most everything is in Spanish except 2 pages.

And my negative staff person and I had a serious talk. I don't even feel bad that she teared up since she was being negative in the discussion of being negative. She may be a tiny bit better but still this is her personality. There was something she saw another person doing and she immediately said it was because he didn't care abotu the kids or his job. I just need a half dozen responses, mostly I make a quick comment, interrupt her at times (she is constantly interrupting) and walk off when we need to move on.

Okay vented out!
