Yesterday morning was a beautiful Fall day. I caught several pics of the many birds on the property. I heard and saw lots more than I was able to get pictures of, but at least I got a couple of decent pics.
Seems like when I see the best possible shots, I don't have my camera with me. One morning, there were bunches of golden-crowned and ruby-crowned kinglets, up close and personal. I didn't have my camera, so I went back to the house to get it. Of course, the kinglets weren't there when I returned. Also, there have been tons of juvenile yellow-rumped warblers (also called 'myrtle' warblers) in one area the other day with their neon yellow bases to their tails.........but again, no camera with me. Oh well.......still a beautiful memory!
Here are a couple of the fairly decent pics I got on my birding outing yesterday morn.
The first is of a white-crowned sparrow. The second is of a female cardinal. The third is of a yellow-rumped warbler. The fourth is of a female ruby-crowned kinglet.
