Followed a pick-up truck for a couple of miles yesterday. The woman in front was setting next to her man.I have always found that romantic. You don't see that near as much these days,I guess because the bench seat has given way to bucket seats.
So what little action or gesture do you find romantic or attractive?
Who knows, some of us might be able to pick up some suggestions from this thread.

My husband insists on opening doors and car doors for me. I love it!

My husband always makes sure I have a fresh pitcher of ice tea. I love homemade and drink a lot of it, so I think it is very sweet of him to do it for me.

My husband's strength is compassion and doing things for me. He's not affectionate but I appreciate all he does do for me and how he always wants the best for me and tries to give me everything I want. I stay pretty frugal but with this move we have to buy some new furniture and decorations and he says he just wants to make me happy. Things don't buy happiness but just.him wanting me to be happy is a lot!

The sexiest words ever, as immortalized by Stevie Wonder "Don't you worry about a thing." (I'll take care of it.)

Kindness, wit, and good humor are pretty irresistible, as well. And "getting" me. Which hardly ever happens.

My birthday was this week. My husband picked me up from work on his pedicab. so much fun. All the neighbors on our 15 block ride home waved and smiled.

When at a restaurant my DH always asks what I want and then orders for me... I find it romantic :)

Also kisses on the forehead make we swoon!

It's interesting how differently we see things. I've always looked at husbands who ordered for their wives as controlling (and vice versa, if it came to that). I'd never considered that the wife might prefer it that way. And I don't want or need doors opened for me, though I understand the cultural convention. In my world, the person who gets to the door first opens it.

Cake wrote a song about that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3i7EFYk-_c
:D

My husband goes out of his way to make me laugh - often. Little jokes, plays on words (good ones), funny text messages, sneaks things into my coat pockets. That's way sexy to me.

I would definitely find it controlling if I didn't get a choice as to what I ordered...but that's not the case ;)

When he looks at me in the evening, sees me looking tired, extends his hand to me and says...."Honey, come on. Let's go to bed."

A few guys that I know might want to ride that way so their hunting dog can ride shotgun:-).

Kidding aside, I actually think that is a very romantic thing. It's been a long time since I've seen that (or been there). I also always thought finding little surprize notes of affection to be nice. Like in a sack lunch, a book, or a coat pocket.

Holding hands, has always been my weakness.

My wife just wandered up to me, and whispered into my ear "I'm going to the mainland tomorrow. Is there anything you want from the Grizzly Tools warehouse, I'm taking the truck...".

A while back we were at a festival and someone walked by with a bowl of chicken pot pie.It looked delicious,so I got in line to get a bowl. The vendor ran out of the pot pie as I got to the front of the line.I was a little disappointed but I didn't even comment on it.The very next evening,my wife had prepared chicken pot pie for dinner. That was thoughtful gesture on her part, even more so than the chainsaw she got me for my birthday.
My wife has commented a few times that I should order for her at restuarants occasionally.I never have,it always felt wierd or "controlling",as someone else said.I guess thats just the way I was raised.

Last Sunday I asked my husband what he wanted to do (it's our only day off during the week) and he suggested a ride out to Wilton. Now it's fall so there is nothing in Wilton. Too cold for a late day hike in the next town over (can't get off the mountain before the sunsets) and the doghouse (hot dog stand) is closed. Only thing still open in that area is the local yarn shop (best one around). Turns out that is what he had in mind. He thought I might like to just look around.
