Need help from old-time members [Archive]

A couple of years ago (I think) there were some posts about a woman and her father who were living off the land, more or less. But thats about all I remember.

Does this ring a bell with anyone?

This brings up a question for me (sorry, threadjack). How far back does this board go? Are the archives searchable, since ownership of the board has changed?
I did a search on the above topic, and the oldest thread it pulled up (using the boards search engine). is Jan of 2011.

You answered your own question. The archives for this version of the board go back to Jan 1st, 2011. Well, the last week of December 2010 if you count test posts and general setup. The fellow who maintained the old board kept it's database for himself when he closed up shop.
