Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! A small group of us new immigrants to Israel had a potluck at one of our friend's homes. We had four Americans, a Canadian, a Columbian and a Namibian, so it was a typically American gathering! A big fat kosher turkey was on the table (18 lbs!), plus sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, guacamole, green bean/cranberry salad, pumpkin pie and plenty of wine, coffee, and soft drinks. My GOSH, I am STUFFED!

Time to start preparing list of New Year's resolutions, including "CURTAIL GLUTTINOUS TENDENCIES IN SOCIAL GATHERINGS!"

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here. We had a traditional turkey and dressing type dinner and the weather was so lovely that we ate out under our 100+ year old live oak trees. I am stuffed!
