I've always found milkweed seeds so cool. I also love that the plants are the host plant for the monarch caterpillar.
There were some that were growing in the garden, but I didn't want them growing there next year. So I waited until the pods burst open and then we drove around the property on the golf cart and put them all along the way.
This pod was so beautiful, I decided to bring it in and take a few close-ups of it. Thought you'd like to see.

Great shot. That brings back memories of living in Minnesota when I was a kid. Loved to throw them in the air, have milkweed battles.

Beautiful! I always look for monarch caterpillars when out and about in the summer - milkweed grows everywhere here.

Alas, I've got no milkweed. If someone wants to share, I have Thai Holy basil seeds and Zabrina Hollyhock.(Malva)
