The Planet Box lunchbox has both a 5 section version and a deeper 3 section version.

Anyone come across any other good blogs/pages like this?

I have read many books and blogs devoted to lunches but do it my own way. The way we eat lends itself well to packing lunch, cold or hot. I always have hot, cold, and raw foods prepared and ready to go, so just have to put them into the appropriate containers.

I like another lunch and just bento blogs for ideas.

But I'm not one to do "cute" lunches for myself. I do have multiple lists of lunch foods that don't require reheating and taste ok at room temp- I need the lists because otherwise I tend to get into a rut. Lately the rotation has been different kinds of quiche and different flatbreads with salad. In the summer, there are more salads and fresh fruits (often from my garden). In the fall and winter, I prefer more hearty foods. I don't use the office microwave because it is often gross, there's a line, and I prefer to eat at my desk (and hot foods tend to have more of a smell). I also have room temperature food, so I can grab and go outside for a picnic when the weather is nice. I do use reusable ice packs for food safety.

My favorite lunch containers are the Easy Lunchbox and the Laptop Lunchbox. I also have a bunch of different lock n lock with multiple compartments.

I don't eat lunch until I get home (2:45P) because I don't eat breakfast until my planning period (9:30ish.)

When I did eat lunch earlier at school I brought stuff I could put in my fridge and heat in my microwave on ceramic dishes from the kitchen. Never had any of that cool lunchware stuff to take to school.

I have also stopped using my coffee pot and instead bring my coffee in a thermos. It's a lot easier now because I only make coffee 1x per day.
