Here's an NPR article about Peace Pilgrim (http://www.wbur.org/npr/168346591/peace-pilgrims-28-year-walk-for-a-meaningful-way-of-life), posted today, on the 60th anniversary of her famous 28 years of walking for peace--January 1, 1953.

She is such an inspiration. What do you all think of Peace Pilgrim?

I just love Peace Pilgrim. She was a person who walked the talk and was very developed spiritually which matters most to me. If only she was here now. I would love to talk with her and have her stay at my home for awhile. Truely an amazing woman.

There are also many other good articles/interviews about her on the Internet. :)

I had some what heard of her before I read the NPR article, NPR is my first hit of news each day. I need to surf around and see other articles on her. Did she shed light on her peace walk to the general public or just those she met along the way, I wonder. Was she well known to the public?
Today's world, what kind of people would she meet on her journey I wonder.
