Hi Blackdog,

Saw this on Facebook and thought of you. It is a white sourdough bread recipe. (You could always use white whole wheat but I find I need a little moe of the fluid it calls for or it comes out a little dry). Anyway it looks like a good sandwich bread!

Tussie: thank you! You're right, it does sound like just what I'm wanting to perfect. Uses basic ingredients I have on hand, a soft loaf, and only makes 2 loaves (so many of the ones I try/or want to try make like 4 loaves, and of course I don't want to waste my ingredients when I know I'm going to screw it up somehow anyway). I've bookmarked your link.

And a sourdough loaf! Sourdough is my absolute favorite.

Give me a couple of weeks (though I'm now excited to maybe try it this weekend). I'll let you know.

Glad it might be right for you. Definitely let me know if you tried it and how it was.:)

Maybe the link isn't going to the right place for me, but I don't see a sourdough recipe. I see a yeast and sour milk recipe. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but sourdough bread uses a sourdough starter instead of yeast. I am always on the look out for new recipes to use my starter in, so I clicked, even though this wasn't directed at me. Sorry for being nosy. ;)
