Just read an ad for a prescription drug in a fitness magazine. The drug was for treating depression. The fine print side effects listed "coma" as one of the possible side effects. Thought to self, "Yep, that will fix the depression all right."

Struck me as funny in a sick way--and sad...

Those pesky side effects, don't ya know..?...

I don't know about you guys, but when I'm stuck in a deep depression I'd welcome a coma! :D

Don't my fellow Canadians find it weird to see US TV ads for medications? On the rare occasion I see US cable and they have those awesome ads that try to convince me to try a particular drug, along with giving me a mile long list of potential side effects, which sound like someone just flipped through a medical dictionary, I think it's hilarious.
Shouldn't it be my doctor recommending a drug and not the other way around? Except for "Dr. Google" of course - that all knowing seer.

The one that always makes me laugh is the potential side effect of one of those Viagra type drugs - the pesky four hour erection.
