I just applied for a totally crazy out of my normal boundaries job...and I am super excited!! I do believe everything happens for a reason and I have been wanting to help out in my community, finding a job that will sustain my bank account but be super exciting and challenging. Well, I found it. Working for a non-profit, helping girl who age out of foster care, so they won't end up on the streets. This will be a coordination between counselors, mentors, local and state agencies to help these girls get off on the right foot and get off the streets. I am terrified and delirious at the same time. It's totally not something I would have ever applied for but I swear God puts things in your lap when He is sure you are ready. I am so happy..even if I don't get...just to step outside the box and apply for me shows I am ready for a BIG change.

Very good news. I think helping teens make that transition into young adulthood is such a critical thing, and could really make a big difference on how the rest of their lives go. Let us know how it goes.
