Jim Nabors came out of the closet and married his longtime partner today in Seattle! Apparently they've been together 38 years. I hope they have many more years of happiness together.

Too bad the rest of the USA doesm't recognize their marriage as just as valid as it is for hetro couples. Some day....

Ok, have we I hit all his standards? Nonetheless, it does make me happy that a gay guy in his 80s is able to marry his sweetheart of 38 years. Only a few years ago that would've been pretty much unthinkable. The world keeps moving forward.
