My Dutch is not great enough to figure out how to make them larger as they arrived in my email but I loved the tiger and the elephant.

These look like the floats in the Rose Parade, which happens ever January 1st in Pasadena, CA. It's a New Year's tradition in our family (and lots of families across the US, of course) to watch it on TV on New Year's morning. A couple of years ago we went to Pasadena on the 2nd, and they have all the floats sitting there for people to look at up close. Now *that* was quite a way to experience them, much different than TV! The parade requires that everything visible on the floats has to be covered with natural material and that means lots of flowers, of course, but also coconut fiber, cocoa husks, leaves, bark, fruit, etc.
