View Full Version : And it's snowing again

I guess it was a good thing that "Nemo" hit over the weekend, because it gave time for the major roads to be cleared. But my city still has parking bans in the center part of town, because the narrow old streets simply have no place to put the snow. So they are having to bring in trucks to haul it away.

And what was predicted to be rain today has turned to snow. And at some point it is supposed to turn back to rain. Which will freeze tonight.

We certainly weren't hit as hard as some areas were by Nemo, but I really don't feel like shoveling again. Not until next winter.

By the end of each season (winter/summer), DH is ready to snap the shovel over his knee and push the lawnmower off a cliff! My suggestion... get out the sand-mix and treat the stairs and walks so you don't take a spill.

To add, we had a stupendous day yesterday, with temps in the high teens (° C), so do take comfort, Spring, is on it's way!

Big trucks were hauling it away here today as well. This snow/slush/rain is going to freeze overnight and make things slippery for tomorrow.

While we sit and wish for snow. I hope it quits where you are and dumps here! Too bad we can't trade weather for awhile....

Oh Yes Rosie I am having the same feelings. Last year was a horrible, burned to the ground, break all the records, kinda year. We don't have much more moisture right now. I am already stating to bring up things like how effective a 3 minute shower is in casual conversation, ....
