It is a pop song that has been played incessantly for the last month or so. The non-radio version is a bit vulgar, be forwarded if you haven't heard it. Its a silly song but I am just glad to hear something on the radio that picks on people who spend lots of money on clothes just so they can look like everyone else. I think it is darn catchy! Now that it is cool to go to thrift stores the stuff will probably be picked over, LOL.

I've seen the lyrics, and I liked his Same Love, as it was kind of an anthem in the marriage equality campaign here. And he is local, after all. I really should watch the video.

Yes! The entire album, The Heist, is really good. The thrift store scenes were filmed in the Seattle Goodwill outlet on 6th ave s. I have a pretty serious music crush on the dude who sings near operatic baritone/ tenor, Ray Dalton. WHAT a voice!

Here they are at NPR, for the Tiny Desk Concert.

hahaha funny you should ask...I woke up to DH yesterday cooking in the kitchen and singing "I'm gonna make some bacon.." to the tune of this song. I literally laughed out loud..so did the kids! I think it's catchy. My daughter commented on this song the other day saying "this guys actually smart...who would pay $50 for a t-shirt?!" That's my girl :)

I love that song! The baritone is great. "I wear your granddad's clothes...I look incredible..."
