For the most part, Spring is here in Central Texas.

Today, I am going to finish up the empty bedroom/office and then give everything a good scub down. It goes fast with less stuff. I am also finally hanging things on the wall, even though we haven't painted, it makes it look neater and pulled together and I can see all my beautiful pictures. : )

Anyone else Spring cleaning yet?

It's far from spring up here in Minnesota...

Talk to us in maybe mid-April. :(

Since March is the snowiest month in Colorado I will also be putting it off, however we get a nice clear day we do clean. So we got the porch cleaned off this weekend,

Not yet spring here in Massachusetts. But I'll be ready for it when it gets here!

It's actually the opposite here in the desert. It took me years to realize that Fall is really our Spring. We have to wait out the heat and dust of a long summer, and then we get revived in the fall to clean, wash windows, declutter, etc.

DH and I have been snowed in together this past week, so being bored - we have been spring cleaning like crazy. :) Although, it's not looking anything like spring here!:help:

I vacuumed yesterday, for the first time in.....(2 mumble) (3 mumble mumble).....and then noticed one little cobweb up high and got the vacuum attachment going to get it and then DH walked in the noticed the cobwebs up over aways, and then we started following the ceiling line over there, and then oh, look at that, why hasn't anyone of noticed that grossness? and oh, should do the drapery while we're at it, it's fuzzy drapery isn't that funny, didn't we just have those cleaned.....oh yeah, 9 years ago, guess that's why they're fuzzy, and shoot, honey, look over here! the stuff is just hanging, and.....

We ended up the both of us spending 45 minutes (truly!) going all through the front end of the house getting grossness/cobwebs off the walls and ceilings of the living room, dining room and kitchen. It was an accident, and it feels awesome to have accidently gotten it done.

And voila! my spring cleaning is done!

(isn't it?) (i don't have to plan for more, do i?)

Though it's a little late, I'm slowly but surely doing spring cleaning.

And you're doing a great job--one room or area at a time.

It's amazing how a little decluttering/cleaning can leave not only the house feeling fresh, but your outlook on things as well!

Same here!

Earlier this Spring I took a bunch of books and things and donated to a local Goodwill.

With unused things gone, it's amazing how empowered you feel!

Welcome rgwhitaker. Hope you enjoy and find a "home" with our little group.

Back on subject, last week I noticed for some weird reason the washable curtains in 3 rooms that were.....fuzzy. Just made myself get them down and get them washed. One set fell apart, but the others are now clean and fresh and back up. More spring cleaning! Just late.

Thinking about windows next.....
