that's a great price for that neighborhood, honestly -- the Hollywood Hills one. And, palatial compared to our current place, so I'm sold. Even though the decor doesn't suit me, I'd live. :)

#1 and #10, both in Calif are to die for cute.

I am fascinated by real houses of 500 sq feet that have real addresses in real established neighborhoods, with real landscaping.

I am less interested in a cabin in the woods or in someone's back yard, that is easy to do.
Well, that's not really my fantasy, anyway.

Iris, these are more my style as well. I like the tiny, tiny tiny houses, or at least the idea but I want someting like these that I could actually see myself in. :)

Well, that's not really my fantasy, anyway.

That's what mine's like. It has a mature poplar and fruitless mulberry to block the hot sun in the summer. I flanked the door with two conifers that are as tall as the roof. I put a lime tree on one side, and a standard grapefruit on the other, along the driveway. I filled the front garden with hollyhocks, larkspur, irises, lilies, and zinnias. The side of the house has lavender, rosemary, roses, and herbs. I put bright red geraniums in the front window boxes, and pink begonias in the side window boxes. The backyard is all fruit trees and veggies...
