Hi, all! Need some help.
My 11 year old dgd is writing a book report, and it has to be on a cereal box. She is looking for an adjective that describes food, starting with the letter "w", and she wants the "w" sound. I offered "wholesome" and was rejected. I'm having a hard time coming up with another one, so I'm asking for help. This will be the name of her "cereal", and she can't use "wheaties", since that is the name of a real cereal. My brain is just sluggish today, so I can use any help you have to offer! Thanks.

Not to be out of step or anything, but isn't the point that she's supposed to stretch her own creativity?

When I worked at the library I used to grind my teeth over parents doing their kids' homework, but maybe the budding corporate managers were really just honing important life skills like task delegation and a hands-off approach to their employees. http://www.kolobok.us/smiles/rpg/jester.gif

Thank you all so much! But I think she has settled on a name she came up with while I was waiting for responses.
Jane, I agree with you completely. But sometimes a suggestion from someone else gets your juices flowing, even if you don't use their ideas. Just as my mind went blank, I think Lana's did too, for a few minutes. That girl is never without an idea for long! She has already drawn her cereal box front, and filled out most of the infor for the ingredients and nutritional info. I think it is a pretty cute idea, making a "cereal box" book report. Anyway, thanks for your ideas. And Mrs. M, just what did you put in your morning coffee?!

You're right about drawing inspiration from others' ideas; I do it all the time. I'm glad she's in high gear now.

Yes, Lana's very driven when it comes to her schoolwork. I honestly don't think she thinks any of us is smart enough to do it! But she is kind enough not to say so. But sometimes the bad ideas of others can get you started, so I don't mind to throw out something less than stellar. But my mind really went blank. She had a very strong idea of what she wanted, and she finally found it, so all is well. She is on Spring Break this week, so she will have plenty of time to get it finished. This is good, because she has been busy non-stop since Fri. She is an extrovert so she thrives on it. Thinking about her activities makes me tired!
