I ordered some things from walmart.com (through MyPoints) and one item didn't arrive. The invoice in the box gave the website address to check on tracking. I went there and saw that the missing item had not been shipped (it was one of two identical items). There was a place to click to email them about it so I did, including the order number handily provided right there on the web page, and less than 24 hours later they replied with an apology and a new tracking number for the expedited shipping of the missing item. No questions, no long process, nobody reading from a script like when you call some places.

Amazon has replaced missing items for me immediately as well.

I think people here don't like to hear good things about Walmart. haha
I felt a little better about the place when a young college student near here went missing. I tried to put up fliers all over town. Several places said No, they weren't allowed to do that, but Walmart agreed without question.

Since I moved last year, there were times when I could not buy something and actually get it home, and so I was introduced to Amazon and Walmart's online sites. They have been saving me time and, most especially, money time and again. My most recent order was messed up by the person taking the order and subsequent telephone calls resulted in a satisfactory resolution and experience. Just a minor blip and from what I have heard from other people here (given the hazards of people relating bad experiences) handled better than some of the small business in this new town.

I am also very fond of the Walmart in the next town, as well as the equally nice people who work there. I have had several occasions to stop by the customer service desk on my way out, to leave commendations for some of the employees, who have been especially helpful.
