I found that Reimer Seed offers all non genetically modified seed for the garden. So I ordered a bunch of it. As soon as I sent in my order (which you're not allow to change), I realized that I ordered $12.50 of a certain pole bean that's treated with Thiram.
Dangit. Here I was trying to be good and pay extra for these seeds, and I accidentally ordered something I won't use.
Could I rinse alot of it off before planting? Dangit. I hate just throwing money away.

I think I'd give them a call anyway and see what they can do.

I sent them an email. They don't do anything by phone, for some reason. I have the feeling they won't read their mail until after its shipped.
I wonder if I could rinse it off??

Sure, but that would just dump the Thiram into the water system. At this point the lesser of the evils is probably just planting the beans. Even if you throw them away it will mean a concentrated dose in the landfill. Maybe you could donate them to a community garden project?

guerilla garden them, surely there is an abandoned lot or unused piece of city property somewhere ... :)

I'm thinking of donating them to a local Goodwill-type place. They even have a garden.
I just found out another thing I ordered had it on it too. Dammit. Its my fault for not paying attention.
Plus, I have since seen tons of bad reviews of this site. Oh well.........live and learn.......and lose money.
