Woo hoo, we are getting a blizzard! I just started my food stockpile so we can make spaghetti, homemade sauce, homemade bread and there are lot of cookies in the house. My staff who gets there at 615 am, and me since I was subbing at 615 tomorrow, are very happy. Our district never cancels school. :cool:

That will be so much fun, enjoy your unexpected day off. I love these late spring snowfalls, they are gorgeous and they melt in 2 days. We had one a few weeks ago, 8" or more. I enjoyed it very much.

Jealous! We got 2 inches and just a bitter north wind. Obviously nothing was cancelled (or needed to be, got to work just fine). 3rd time this year a big storm was supposed to happen and we got a non-shovelable amount. Hope you had a relaxing day off!

Heh, got a partial snow day yesterday! The drive home then was way better than this morning tho- sheesh!

Oh how I envy you snow bunnies! It's almost 90 here on the SoCal coast with high winds and very very dry. Let the wildfires begin!! UGH - hate hot weather. If I didn't have dreaded jury duty starting Monday I'd be outta here to some place3 cold and snowy asap. Of course my sister is skiing in the Sierras now and gloating at me about the cool weather and great snow every...single...day...urghhhhhhhh!!!!
