I admit to a cranky moment today with my oldest. Yeah you have all heard it. I have not had time to implement the awesome idea of charging her some amount of rent and working that out because (if you read the personal finance section) I am being sued by the 2nd mortgage in my foreclosure and being threatened with being sued by their dad, and I truly cannot pay either one of them anywhere near the amount they want to be satisfied. I am not sleeping well. Maybe a BS excuse but it is still a reason.

I got canned soup for dinner, no one likes what I cook and I have a ton of work to do after work. My oldest came upstairs, did not speak to me when I got home, had the entire day off work and did not tell me if she did something, So I told her she could pay $2 for a can of soup or do a chore. She said she had started her broken down car to check the mileage to get rid of it. I said that she still needed to do something that affected the family or pay $2, taking care of her own car was not enough. Of course she asked what her brother had done, and then said I was supposed to tell her what to do, and all that.

Okay cranky but low stress on my end and possibly made a point. I can see the empty creamer container she left out on the counter as well.

Good grief. The car is still there?

Yes the car is still there, good thing I have a driveway that can park 4 cars. I have one barely running beater that I am keeping to put a new engine in, which I can do since I pay the rent. So there, ha ha. Once I get an engine in then it will be my 'zombie apocolypse car'. yeah don't try to talk me out of my '95 subaru manual transmission with the awesome AC that can get through more snow than some SUV's.

Oh wandered off again, the car is still here!!!!! But good news is I texted the child and suggested she take out all the trash in the house and replace bags and maybe get that creamer container so she did not have to pay me $2 for soup and she is doing it.

I think that even though we are getting snow it would still be a risk to set the car on fire, especially since I cancelled insurance on it.
