I'm in NJ and am so careful as to where we go as there is a bedbug epidemic in NYC and then some. Movie theaters are one place I won't visit since it is dark in there.

Actually I won't go to thrift shops either, I read somewhere else that a woman went to one and saw one while looking in the linen section.

I also won't stay in a hotel either.....

Think they are very hard to get rid of once they are there.

What a horrible thought. I'm pretty sure someone on the Forum once said they had gotten bedbugs in the hospital.

I'm not at all surprised. In fact, I see hospitals as a prime breeding ground for all things contagious and epidemic. Clinics, too.

I saw an article within the past 3-4 months about people getting bedbugs from library books. Many people read in bed, so...

I shuddered at that one.
