As much as I ADORE this tree house (http://money.cnn.com/video/pf/2013/04/25/pf-uh-topanga-canyon-treehouse.cnnmoney/index.html), it's a bit funny that the property (and the main off-the-grid house) is selling for $2.395M (made an error on the price in the title, but close enough). Maybe this could be like one of those articles that shows you a designer dress and then how you could get the same look for $49.99.

I'm quite sure that someone clever on these boards could do the tree house for a heck of a lot less. Any bids?

That's OK. I don't have a lead on $3 million. I do like the tree house, though.
