View Full Version : GOOD MEN
Charles Ramsey and Angel Cordero, the 2 men who rescued the 3 women held in Cleveland, are 2 truly good men. Both of them have said, in separate interviews, they feel bad that they didn't realize sooner what was going on in their neighborhood, but they acted immediately as soon as they knew somebody needed help, because it's only right to step up and do the right thing. They have really uplifted my spirit and restored some of my faith, not to mention how much good they've done for the 3 women and the little girl.
If anything good comes out of this maybe it will teach us all to be a little more vigilant and a little more involved with our immediate surroundings. Assuming we don't start a witch hunt directed at every person who comes off as being odd, but I don't think we will. Besides, I will always believe most people are inherently well intentioned, compassionate and caring. Its just easy to get distracted in our world of sensory overload. On the back side I can only imagine how bad I would feel if something like that went on next door to me. It makes me think back on all the weird neighbors I've had over the years (there's been a few prize winners). Guess I should just be happy to remain engaged with the current set.

I watched every interview I could find of Charles Ramsey yesterday. You could tell how pained he was that he had lived there a whole year and never knew it.
And here's another thing.... the 911 operators seemed completely inept to me.
