Just wanted to post something positive for once about working from my seasonal job here in the Flaming Gorge area of Northern Utah.....There are things I can see negative here BUT BUT BUT I worked my first breakfast shift and made $53.....then got promptly bumped to nights and made $141 and then the next night $147. For three days of work I was able to save $300 and sent it back down to my credit union in Phoenix via postal money order. I seem to have perhaps stumbled upon quick legal cash and yes there are things wrong here but it is my job as I see it to save money and not rock the boat.....so glad in this economy to have found a place where I can actually save some cash serving! And no bussers here to tip out and no bartenders, either. Rob
So glad to hear there are some positives!
My first job was waiting tables. It made it so hard to learn how to budget because my thought was always "I can blow this tip money because I'll make more tomorrow night". When I got my first job that was bi-weekly pay....I thought I'd die. It can be good money and it's great that you are sending it home to the credit union. I've had a postal money order get lost in the mail - and it took forever for the claim to be paid - I wish there were some other way you could get it there.

That's great! I hope you're enjoying the work.
That's pretty fast cash. So is this a room and board situation, too?

That's pretty fast cash. So is this a room and board situation, too? Hi Lainey!
Yes 200 a month for a room in a fairly run down trailer - it works for now, though, and discounted employee meals when you are at work - food is a bit pricey and problematic to eat healthy up there, though, but I walked into this knowing this from having done these kinds of jobs before. Rob

Why to go, Rob--that is fantastic money!
