Old T.V. commercial jingle - driving me nuts!

Am I going totally bonkers, or does anyone else remember an old T.V. commercial (1970's maybe?) that had this little jingle that went "the 99 cent-er, 99 cent-er" and I think I recall a little chicken singing it. What I don't recall is what the commercial was for! Maybe a small chicken sandwich? I hope someone else remembers this and can help me! After reading this post you probably think I am surely in need of help!!!:laff:

Can you remember any more of the words? No, sorry, I can't. Just something singing a little jingle that said "the 99 cent-er, 99 cent-er". That's it, and the fact that I think it might have been a cartoon chicken.
