Our newest family member made his debut on May 29. Dashiell Benjamin (Dash for short) was born last Wednesday, weighing in at 8 lbs 10 oz. It was a scary delivery; the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck, and an emergency assist was required to safely get him out. Thankfully, he still managed to come into the world happy and healthy.

We are all doing fine now! My recovery has been a bit challenging due to the nature of the birth, but Little Man is a good eater, and his big sister adores him (for the most part). DH had to return to work today, so I am on my own. With two kiddos under two, I probably won't get to post much...but I did want to check in and say hi even if I will be more of lurker for awhile.

Congratulations and give yourself time to recover and find your feet in your expanded role. The house will survive chaos for the transition time.

Accept all the help that is offered and set up small jobs that can be done by friends and family that will help you get through this busy time.
