I posted before about how I am struggling with clothing since my body is being very 46, LOL> I never hated my body before so why start now. But it is frustrating to put on clothes and have them hurt or look bad. I have found some things at goodwill here and there and Ross but today i was sick of trying to piece together these outfits and had an intuition about going to Macy's. I could always just walk around and not buy anything after all. Maybe get some cute ideas to put together myself.

So I found that a higher end store had LOTS more clothing that would work with my tummy issues, elastic in waists that was covered in a crisp style, Side zip pants that had more give to them, etc. I don't tend to buy a lot of clothing so I thought I could buy a few things there easily. Well I got some bright blue stretchy side zip pants, a super soft zip hoodie that looks classier than my constant pullover hoodie for work and then a t-shirt to match the hoodie stripes for $50 total. I was under the budget I set so I got my son another pair of shorts and a t-shirt. He wears one type of short and only t-shirts with bands on them so I don't worry as much about price, just if he will wear them.

I was super pleased that I got some brighter colors and better quality than usual. I tend to have a classic style with solid colors and clean lines (how many white shirts and black dress pants do I have? Just enough in case I need to be a waitress), so everything was very classic styling just with more bright colors.

Just feeling some shopping victory, with running this morning maybe my tummy will decrease and maybe it won't but I can get dressed.

Zoe Girl: Good for you! Macy's seems to always be having sales & deals and specials, so that things are nearly never as much money as the marked price.

When you look good you feel good, and when you feel good you do good. Trite but true. Better quality clothes look better and wear longer. Once you know the store brand, designer, and even materials composition (for me it's Talbots petite poly/cotton/spandex blend) you can type those exact parameters onto ebay. I have been very happy with buying "thrift" clothes off ebay. The variety of what's available is much better than what's available at the store
