I got the bankruptcy filed and a court date at the end of July, I think it is going to be okay. the payment plan is very reasonable and I paid the other things I could, took care of the pressing car and computer repairs, and feel I did the best I could overall. I have not predicted my emotions with all of this, somewhere in the middle I wish I had declared bankruptcy in order to keep my house but there was no guarantee I could keep the house anyway. I pretty much let go of wanting my ex to communicate in any way over this, he is taking care of himself and I will take care of myself and the children. When I help families who have no jobs and have struggled much more for years I feel I have done a good job

Good luck, Zoe Girl. From everything you posted about your job and finances I think you did the smart thing. I hope all goes well from here on out.

From this end it seems the same, Zoe Girl. So many difficult decisions and so much worry, and now you are coming out of that mess having done your best and with your integrity intact. It really does not get much better than that. Congratulations.

Zoe Girl, it will be such a relief to have all of this behind you. It will be as if a physical weight has been lifted off of your shoulders!:)

Relief--that is the same word that occurred to me! To new beginnings!
