Final radiation treatment DONE!

The last of the active cancer treatments is over. Whew. I am toasted... this has been on my mind since the end of January, when I first noticed symptoms. Now, I go in for monitoring every 3 months for two years, then every six months for three years. The radiation oncology MD shook my hand when tx was completed today, and said "I hope to never see you again!" Well, amen to that.

In the meantime, I am taking good care of myself, and going to both acupuncture & a Naturopath, for adjuvant treatments. I am ready to have a summer. Onward!!

That is just SO GREAT! What a burden to have lifted from you. What are you going to do now that you can cast your mind toward an interest or hobby that's not fighting cancer?I would htink that there are some things you've been putting off, at least, that would be me in your situation.

Seriousy!! Yes, looking for additional consulting work, having some FUN, and getting my new rug loom unfolded. It's all ready to weave on... and I have enough fabric to start a rag rug. I was told today that I will continue to have effects from the radiation, up to 18 months, hopefully not severe. Oy. Very happy to be thinking about life again...
