I am the same, I have fond memories of swinging with my Grandmother. It would be nice to be able to do it again although not sure if any of the trees here would be able to hold my weight...

I have been asking my hubby to make me a swing in one of our trees for over a year now. I have always loved them and love to swing way up high. It is a good workout for the legs and it's just pain fun. I used to love getting on a swing with my young sun. I would sit him on my lap, facing me, with his legs on either side of me. He was safe and secure and loved to swing high with me.

He does. I'd love to have a swing so I can do that with the littlest grandson before he gets too big
