Found $50 while decluttering!

Was decluttering some papers this afternoon and came across an Amex gift check for $50! I remember getting it as a gift about 15 years ago from a friend that worked for Amex at the time. I have no idea what the occasion was, but oh well. I guess I'll go to the bank tomorrow and see if I can cash it in. I looked online and apparently they still sell them and they have no expiration date so hopefully it's still valid.

You say no expiration date, but how about a normal (check) date?

Checks, IMHE are legally good for one year from the date of issue.

Since it's a gift check it's not got a 'regular' date on it.

I once found 50$ in a old jeans :) and about 60$ in a old jacket, what a surprise it was:)...

That brings me on an idea that I should check all my clothes for money, mm but then I think it is not the same...

I follow the rule that SO's mother set. Whatever laundry she did she got to keep any money in the pockets. I always do the laundry and usually SO has just left pennies and nickels in his pockets but a couple of weeks ago I got $8!
