OMG this is crazy and fun. So my kids have been better about responsibility and had money to do this on their own so I said okay to kittens. My sister's friend had 3 litters born under a bush on a farm so we went and picked out 2, it was really hard to say no to the rest!
We have had them for a month and now they are more comfortable in the house and allowed some roaming privileges, and they are EVERYWHERE! I will say before the epic tales that it is fun and has given me a more lighthearted outlook. It also helps that I am not doing litter box duty or paying for food. Here are some of the highlights
* kitten Chichi wants to get out of the house, we have a portable AC unit that vents out a window and we tuck in the curtain to block the rest of the window, so when she is not sleeping on the warm vent hose she is clawing at the window to crawl out and has made it a few times
* Kitten Saul is a boy, he literally runs into things, bounces off walls, falls down stairs, and never seems to get shook up, he is totally not sneaky
* Chi chi is sneaky, you can catch her getting into everything if you look hard enough, latest challenge is a giant house plant they are eating from the bottom up (yes we checked and it is not toxic)
* now that they are allowed some roaming at night I hear crashes on a regular basis, thank goodness the recycle bin is noisy but not breakable
* we cannot eat without putting them in a room, I took them off the table a dozen times at lunch before just putting them in my son's bedroom, okay that one is not cute after a dozen times but the rest of this is cute.
