Many of you probably saw this, featured on the Yahoo homepage feed today.
Some seriously cute houses but pricey! They DO come with acreage, though and that's driving up the price.
One of them is on Orcas Island. Don't we know someone there? :)

I'm within bicycling distance. I am almost within kayaking distance, if I drove to the right launch. One of my favorite islands, besides the one I live on of course (Whidbey).

It's fun to read the comments, Iris. The one in WA is probably well priced, for 5 acres on the water---seems like people will pay that. I am out here visiting for the first time and I can see the appeal, but the whole area is severely out of my price range--sorry I made the trip, for the value received for the money spent.
The trailer in Sequim is looking like the buy of the century.
I use to work near a very upscale artist community of Laguna Beach, Ca and most of the very tiny homes are over a million there. But then the crappy run down little hovel in the gangster 'hood here in SoCal goes for about $500K :-)!

It's nicely decorated for sure and has some fancy appliances but is that thing really much bigger than a rental apartment? Doesn't seem so. Yea even small houses can be "if you have to ask the price, you can't afford it".
I'm currently in the homestretch of construction of a custom "not so big" house in a very upscale, historic village in PA. Homesites there are intentionally small, but surrounded by preserved farmland and well-used open space. The prices of homes reflect not the size of the home and/or the homesite, but the total package, which includes a wonderful quality of life in an historic, well-planned community.
