But we've seen that before! haha! Are the grownups taking their cue from the kids?

Love it, il! In a way, the kids get better than the adults -- they at least get a stove/oven.
And what's with the canned goods in the refrigerator?
Seriously, I like the idea. But there needs to be at least an induction hotplate for the things that can't be microwaved well.

Hey, the description of the adult kitchen says it includes an "induction hob" and that means hot stove top of some kind. I think that its underneath the sugar and tea caddies in the photo.
random faerie fact: hobgoblins were the faerie folk who hovered around the stove in English kitchens. They were mischievous and did things like blowing soot all over and hiding utensils used in cooking.
I am skeptical about how that sink works, how cna there be a drain and water source in that thing? Not practical at all.
I think you're right, il, the hob is under the canisters. The sink could work if the drawer in front of it is a fake (or a tipout only, for scrubbies and such) and given that the trap and supply lines have to encroach on the space below. Interesting that a local water heater is listed as an option.
I think this is one of those design exercises that works better as inspiration than as pragmatic design. :-)

Very pretty. This would actually be too big to fit in my tiny galley kitchen!
