I saw a similar idea using tuxedo shirts---they were really snappy-classy looking with the pleats and all!

That sounds really nice Kay, a little fancier than a denim shirt!
A few years back I had three skirts, with buttons down the front and kind of gather at the waist,
so when I took then apart I had a nice flat large piece of fabric. Made Dd 3 covers and she has got a lot of complainants on them.

Hi danna,
It sounds like a great way to re-use fabric, but not sure what covers are? Chris
Tussiemussies....sorry I should have said Pillow covers.....I like to make them to be removed for washing.
They looked very much like the ones done with shirts they used reused some of my older skirts.

Hi danna, that is such a great idea! I bet denim would hold up really nicely and other fabrics too. Chris
