My daughter did archery at camp and would like to continue, but the equipment rental fees are outrageous ($18/hour - and another $12 for lane fee.) Anyone have a recommendation for a bow and other equipment for a beginner? Nothing special, just the basics - hoping I can find something on Craigslist or Ebay.
Thanks!

(I'm thinking of doing this with her too - it's been a while, but I sure enjoyed it as a kid.)

Drop by Pacifica Archery in Daly City and ask for help/advice/trials, they are nice folks.

We found joining an archery club to be the cheapest option. They had free equipment rental, lessons and swap meets and the annual family membership cost was less than what we paid for one hour of commercial lessons.

Thanks Bae - they are cheaper than the place we were going - and closer, too!
