Omg that is hilarious! I'm at a public library trying to sitfle my laughter and it's not working. I once had 3 big dogs and 3 cats at the same time and that video depicts what went on in my house all the time. Eventually the dogs gave up and laid on the couch - where the cats would then leave the dog bed and kick the dogs off the couch - or more often just curl up next to them. Must post some photos.

All the people I know who have both go through that. They keep buying beds for the dogs, and they keep being co-opted. Except for my friend with the cat who thinks he's a dog. No problems there.

True. But I had a dog who thought he was a cat - and acted it in all ways and forms. He even fought like a cat with the cats - reared up and paw swatted them. Of course the real cats always won :-)

They were all great, but I thought the one where the dog gave up and tried to lay down in the little cat bed was really funny!

LOL Thanks for the belly laughs this morning. One of my cats does this all of the time to the dog. Louise says "cats rule! Dogs drool!!"

Haha, I love it. My big grey cat (who is my avatar) is alpha queen of the house over the other cat and three dogs. She will sit in the middle of my labs' beds just like that. Sometimes though, when it is chilly she will actually cuddle up with them...not out of love of course, but only to exploit them for their body heat, haha.
