My car is fixed - all fixed. I'm stunned. Here's what happened.

I'm utterly speechless. I took my car in today for motor mounts and a wheel bearing. I was in for a shock when I picked it up. They did all $1130 worth of work today, knowing I only had the $$ for the motor mounts/wheel bearing ($450). Told me to pay the rest when I have it. Didn't care that would be in a month. So I've got 4 new tires and front sway bars, too. Joe, the owner, told me he can't leave stuff undone. Owner's son, Adam, told me that his dad Joe remembers how business was conducted with just a handshake when he moved to the US from Poland in the late 70s. So I've got a car that feels like new. Wow! I'm very grateful.

That's fantastic. Especially since we usually hear gripes about service people, this is especially nice to hear.

The owner's son told me about 90% of their customers justify their faith in them.

Not only would I pay them early, I would return and then tell everyone about them.

Paying early, before mid-Nov isn't an option. I won't have it. I was very honest with them that I only had $$ for part of the repairs. My trip to New Orleans is in two weeks. Next pay is trip spending money. Trip has been planned for months. I am most.definitely going to them for other work and am telling everyone. Posted my experience on my Facebook profile, too.

Excellent!

Though there are times when people seem bound and determined to prove me wrong, I like to think people rise to the occasion when they're allowed to do so. Obviously your mechanic believes the same. I'm glad people reward that trust.

Old school RULES!!!!

What a great business to trade with.
And a great investment for them because you will be faithful to them for future repairs and win them new business.
