Made a hat rack

My daughter and I are both hat people - top hats, berets, cloches, we have them all. Hers were all over the place, and I came across a nice 1x4 board from my remodeling of my cabin. I just put a row of deck screws in it (sticking out), painted it with some leftover paint, and screwed it to her wall. Voila - looks great with all her hats on it, and they're not all over the floor of her closet.

I'm going to make one for myself - I'm thinking of getting a little fancy and making a wooden star with pegs or screws at the points and joints.

Really easy and practical project - took about 30 minutes to complete. Cost - $0.

Your design could be used for lots of things organizational. I do not wear hats, but I have some nice scarves that would become much more wearable if they were out where I could see them.

Yes, and it's attractive too. I mounted dd's over the bulletin board over her bed. Scarves would look really pretty, and necklaces too.
