Have you noticed how expensive the little felt pads are for furniture? Since we switched to wood flooring (laminate) in our new house, we've been buying a lot of these.

Recently at Joanns Craft Store, I found some pieces of felt that is sticky back. Wonders never cease! This felt is even made from 100% recycled bottles so I was even happier.

I traced around the bar stool feet, then cut the felt to size and voila! Easy, quick chair pads for about $.50.

And this box: It's from PiperLime--I got it full of beautiful yellow china dishes at the local "Free Zone" a place where you can drop off/pick up free stuff and keep it out of the landfill. I LOVED the interior--such a cool pattern and color. I cut the box apart, turned it inside out and used a glue gun to put it back together. So psyched!

(I haven't posted a picture in here before--but here's the link if you want to see two pics via Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/74016990@N08/sets/72157637411843353/).)

Lastly, are my re-newed packing bows. These were made by simply cutting magazine pages in strips about 1/4-1/2 in long (width wise) and then holding the strips in place as I added more and more. I secured with one staple and then glued a vintage button to hide it.
