I could see them all over the place. Oh, and thanks for making it possible for me to avoid doing anything useful during the evening. I just ate and clicked on all the links from that item. I must have had six tabs open at all times. Lots of good things there.

I have to check that out further. I usually don't sleep at night so it will give something to do! I like what the snowflakes are hanging on. Where do you think I could pick that up at? I am thinking of trying to make these for my sisters as a birthday gift. They both have Dec. birthdays.....

I just spent more time than I should cutting out snowflakes....they are lovely. I won't make a mobile, I just love cutting them out. Thanks for the link!

Chris, I have no idea what that is, and the how-tos on the link do not include the snowflake mobile. I checked all of the links, but none of them had that kind of hanging device, especially the broken links. :~)

To me it looks like one of the rings from a tomato tower, with three of the 'legs' cut to size and folded up to create some of the cross pieces. That would leave you a couple of cross pieces short, but I suppose you could solder the cut-off portions of the legs/side wires. Already sounding like more work than I want to do, so I might use an embroidery hoop, as was used in the poms mobile and cross it with pieces of doweling or some darn thing. Very frustrating, at least in this late-night moment.

As long as I am somewhere on the snark scale, the one that suggests using paint chip samples, I think that no one has sufficient sample strips from remodeling or painting, and that, as the author shares that her husband stole them from Lowes, stealing is stealing. I have to admit that it is tempting when I can see how many things I could make from those vivid color swatches. Much easier on the old ethics to make stuff from papers I already have or can find at the charity or craft shops.

Snark over. And, out. :|(
