I don't remember who, but someone was looking for ideas on self care.

I came across this blog post on "55 gentle ways to take care of yourself when you’re busy busy busy (http://www.thefreedomexperiment.com/2011/10/28/55-gentle-ways-to-take-care-of-yourself-when-youre-busy-busy-busy/)" and it seems to be a really great list.
Most are no cost and accessible to anyone.

Here's an example:

Compliment yourself

Positive self-speech can seriously impact your mood. Instead of adding to the monkey-brain thoughts of not good enough, too stressed and panic – tell yourself you look good, that you’re doing great and that you can manage everything that comes your way.

There is a lot of self-care information in the form of daily meditation books for co-dependents. Hazelden used to sell books but don't know if they still do.....

They do have a free page where they post the thought for the day, which may be very helpful to some?

On the thought for the day page, there is a menu on the left where you can read the daily meditation from other meditation books.....chris

Something that works for me as far as self care - realizing I am worth the time to slow down and invest the time and energy into eating better - not just grabbing fast food on the run. Rob
