My local PBS is having an American Craft marathon--what a beautiful series of programs. If you love craft, you should watch it. And buy the DVDs to watch over and over again. They take their time introducing each artist and their craft, and linger lovingly over the products of their labor. Forging, basketry, quilting, weaving, painting, woodwork silversmithing...People doing what they love, and making a living at it. Refreshing and inspirational.
