Would love to stamp up some white craft paper to use as gift wrap, but I can never find it anywhere. Any ideas? Thank you. chris

Just searched quickly on Amazon, but I doubt you would like the prices! Do Michaels/Hobby Lobby/other craft stores not have it? The Container Store also has wrapping supplies, you might want to check there.

Would this also be known as butcher paper? The kind in a roll for kids to draw on?

This was the cheapest I could find on Amazon. 50' long roll.

ETA: here's another one, 100' roll.

Thank you so much Tradd for looking this up for me. We have Amazon prime, so I will check that. chris

Or why not use shipping paper? I love using the shipping paper, which is really easy to find. You can stamp that, too, and then use florist twine to tie it up...

I also repurpose atlases.

You're welcome. I have Prime, too, so Amazon is pretty much the first place I go to look for something.

I agree with Catherine on the brown shipping paper. That would give a nice "rustic" look.

We have never had the need for brown shipping paper. Where would I pick that up? Staples?

Check any place that sells shipping supplies, even though the PO has frowned on the use of brown paper.for years.

Also look up "educational supplies" or such categories. We have a couple of big stores that specialize in teacher supplies.

Butcher's paper is also sold at Sam's club and restaurant supply places, and if it isn't large, and you still have any butcher shops (or places that process deer, and hunting meat), you might be able to get some from them, if not a lot is needed.

Used to work at a newspaper and they had rolls of blank paper... usually gave the end of rolls free for the taking..... that should work for stamping and wrapping. Worth a phone call?

I bought a large roll here:
https://store.schoolspecialty.com/OA_HTML/xxssi_ibeSearchResults.jsp?type=search&minisite=10046&query=kraft+paper
but they only have large quantities or single sheets.
It's a good price for the quantity, unless you will never need that much.

Depending on the size of your gift... I have cut the bottom out of brown paper grocery bags and used as wrapping paper.

This is a great thread I've often wondered where to buy the rolls of white paper at a decent price.
My kids have an art easel that you can install one to, but I've never pursued it.

I have heard something about roll of newspaper print that you can get cheaply ????? Or that just may be my imagination... I've never tried researching it.

Edit to Add; Just read posts above mine, looks like it isn't my imagination afterall. Thanks Frugal-one

Actually, brown shipping paper can be purchased at any CVS or Walgreens, or any big box store.

Do you have a Michael's near you? I'm sure they have it as well--and may have your white paper.

Try potato stamping the paper, with kids paint. Lots of fun!

Looks like Target has some for a decent price. (http://www.target.com/p/3m-scotch-postal-wrapping-paper-30-x30/-/A-13331719?ref=tgt_adv_XSG10001&AFID=Google_PLA_df&LNM=|13331719&CPNG=Gifts&kpid=13331719&LID=PA&ci_src=17588969&ci_sku=13331719&gclid=CNO_nee6ursCFSUOOgodVBEAOw)

I use brown kraft paper from my work for wrapping every year, we use it at my printing company for packing boxes that ship out.
